Six Sentence Sunday: The Inheritance

I’m bag with another Six Sentences! This week my six is from my first e-book release The Inheritance

 

The Six:

The clock’s every tick seemed to know it was probably the last night of his life. There was so much to talk about and yet Kaylee couldn’t find any words that would make sense. Her father’s mouth was twisted and almost useless, as if his tendency to be tight-lipped towards his daughter was finally manifested into a physical condition. “I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be boring. I just don’t know what to say,” Kaylee admitted as her mind struggled for some inane topic that might interest her father, that she might be able to blather about all on her own.
