It’s blog hop time!

It’s hippity hoppity blog hop time! Spring is here, the weather is warmer,  flowers are blooming,  chocolate bunnies are everywhere! Whether you’re celebrating the more religious aspects of the holiday, digging into your basket of goodies,  or just enjoying the fact that everything’s growing and pretty – Easter’s a pretty good day. It doesn’t get as much press as Christmas but it’s a fabulous time to get together with family and friends and remember that even though there’s a lot going on people can change and move forward. Plus you get to ditch the giant coats and Christmas sweaters for fluttery dresses and snazzy shirts and slacks.

Me, myself,  and I – I’m going to be hanging out with family and enjoying a quiet weekend before my job starts picking up and things get crazy over the summer. I’m looking forward to hunting for eggs with the kids in the family and glee-ing over cute little Easter trinkets (Admittedly I am a sucker for cute things so the season of little pink bunnies and yellow chickies and sidewalk chalk shaped like carrots is fabulous for me.) I’m looking forward to some good food and some good conversation. For me Easter is kind of the calm before the storm of the summer and I enjoy it very much.

And of course it wouldn’t be a blog hop without a giveaway! Leave a comment (with your email) telling me what Easter means to you/how you’re celebrating/what your fave Easter memory is and you’ll be entered to win a PDF copy of my first release The Inheritance.

And of course don’t forget to hit the other fabulous blogs in the hop to comment for chances to win a lot of goodies!

  1. Since the kids were tiny, I’ve been setting a treasure hunt for them to find their Easter Eggs. They love it! And I enjoy writing the clues in rhyme, although it can take ages! We’re moving with the times too. We enjoy geocaching (hunting for caches using a GPS) so this year my daughter, the oldest of the two kids left at home, will be following a mini geocache trail to find her booty. The hunt is a great Easter tradition for our family.

  12. My favorite Easter memory is when my son was about 5 and hunted for the hidden eggs. He was so cute running around and saying “I found one”. I usually always watch The Ten Commandments for an Easter tradition. I don’t think I ever get tired of watching it. Although last night, there were some big problems with the movie, but the meaning is always the same.

  14. One of my favorite Easter memories is when my siblings and i woke up to big baskets of candy and a board game a piece. We took all of our candy, threw it into one huge bowl, put it in the middle of the table and my famiy played our board games all day long. I remember having so much fun! Laughing, having a stomach ache from eating to much candy and nothing else! Its one of my favorite memories. 🙂 Happy Easter! You have a wonderful time and have a great weekend! 😉 Thank you for sharing and for the giveaway!
